Jui Jitsu Karate
First Jui Jitsu Karate class is free!
Jiu Jitsu Karate is the martial art of yielding so as to conquer. It combines some Judo, Karate and Aikido, along with its own unique characteristics to either control an attacker until help arrives, or to “disturb their balance and equilibrium” to such an extent that you will be able to walk away unharmed.
Alan Muir is a highly experienced and respected volunteer Karate Instructor with PCYC North. We are lucky to have his high level of expertise in our club.
Try your first class for free! No need to book in, just turn up on the night of classes to join in.
Aikido
First Aikido class is free!
Aikido is a highly refined martial art, developed in the last century as a means of self-defence and spiritual training. Aikido develops coordination of mind and body. Through its philosophy and techniques, Aikido brings us in harmony with our environment, other people and ourselves. Unlike many martial arts aikido requires no advantage in strength or speed, and is practiced successfully by people of all ages and abilities. Aikido practice develops flexibility, coordination, concentration, improved health and fitness, effective communication skills and self-esteem.
